First Information Session – Bucharest, Romania –    17 October 2019

A 3-hour information session, focused on knowledge sharing regarding blockchain. The event, that took place in Bucharest, Romania, on October 17, 2019, at ImpactHub – Timpuri Noi, consisted in brief interventions by project team members, aimed at providing current and potential entrepreneurs with basic details regarding the project and its outputs. The project team investigated the feedback of the audience regarding the intellectual results of the project and decided on the timeline of the next information sessions to take place in Romania in order to deliver the proper impact in the ecosystem. Thus, both E2 and E7 was decided to take place in February 2020, in Bucharest and Constanta to ensure a proper impactful dissemination. This event had 40 participants from outside the organizing institution and other project partners , actors of the blockchain ecosystem: project teams, teaching staff from the activity leading institution, students, local public bodies, NGOs and business environment institutions.


Second Information Session – Constanta, Romania – 18 February 2020

A 3-hour information session, focused on knowledge sharing regarding blockchain. The event, that took place in Constanta Romania, on February 18, 2020, at the premise of the partner – UOC, consisted in brief interventions by project team members, aimed at providing current and potential entrepreneurs with basic details regarding the project and its outputs. The project team investigated the feedback of the audience regarding the intellectual results of the project and decided on the timeline of the events to take place in Romania in order to deliver the proper impact in the ecosystem. Thus, it was decided to have a joint event by all Romanian partners with the Constanta Port Authority and companies in June / July 2020. This event had 78 participants overall (at least 40 from outside the organizing institution and other project partners), actors of the blockchain ecosystem: project teams, teaching staff from the activity leading institution, students, local public bodies, NGOs and business environment institutions.


Seventh Information Session – Bucharest, Romania – 26 February 2020

Yes, we know, we have a peculiar way to count, but this is how we wrote them in the application form, so 7 comes before 3. This information session, hosted by ZITEC at ImpactHub – Timpuri Noi (as you can see we really really liked that place), consisted in brief interventions by project team members, aimed at providing institutions and organisations relevant to the ecosystem with basic details regarding the project and its outputs. We focused on the mismatched dictionaries between economists and the tech world (specifically in the issue of cryptocurrency) and on specific use-cases, such as edtech blockchain based certificates. This event had 40+ participants from outside the organizing institution and other project partners , actors of the blockchain ecosystem: project teams, academia, local and national public bodies, NGOs and business environment institutions.


Third Information Session – Tallinn, Estonia (online) – 7 December 2020

Scheduled initially for May 2020, it was derailed by the restrictions due to the pandemic. It took place via Microsoft Teams, to a global audience, in December 2020. The topics covered in the Info Session were several industrial use-cases: blockchain in automotive, blockchain in healthcare and blockchain in public project processes. Held by the Taltech team (Alex Norta, Zaib Liaqat, Chibuzor Udokwu), the information session had as guest Mr. Alexander Kormiltsyn and Ms. Roxana Voicu-Dorobantu. According to the list provided by Microsoft Teams, the audience was of more than 350 unique visitors outside the project.
